------- 원본 내용 --------- 넥슨 '바람의나라'는 1996년 4월 출시돼 한국 온라인 게임의 문을 열었다. 이때부터 게임업계 맏형이 된 넥슨은 2013년 넥슨컴퓨터박물관을 개관하고 10년 넘게 게임의 역사를 전하는 알림이로 애써왔다. 30년 동안 유저들과 동고동락한 넥슨은 이들의 이야기를 최근 리모델링을 마친 넥슨뮤지엄에 담아냈다. 제주 관장은 "이전 박물관이 게임과 컴퓨터에 대한 사회적 인식 변화를 목표로 했다면 지금은 넥슨 게임을 즐겼던 세대와 아이를 연결하는 공간이 되고 싶다"고 말했다. 넥슨뮤지엄의 가장 큰 특징은 '넥슨 계정 연동'이다. 관람객은 자신의 게임 기록을 기반으로 전시를 체험할 수 있다. 박 관장은 "기존 게임 전시는 게이머 입장에서 보면 피상적인 경우가 많았다"며 그는 "넥슨 게임을 사랑했던 20~30대 이용자층이 자신들의 자녀와 넥슨뮤지엄을 찾고 있다"며 "내 플레이 기록이 살아 있는 공간에서 환대받는 경험을 주고 싶었다"고 설명했다. 실제 넥슨뮤지엄은 단순히 게임을 '설명' 대신 이용자 경험 자체를 중심에 두고 있다. 박 관장은 "기존 박물관은 이야기를 주입하는 구조였다면 지금은 부모가 도슨트가 되고 아이들에게 설명하는 공간"이라며 "화자가 바뀐 것"이라고 말했다. 넥슨의 장수 <span data-type="ore" data-lang="en" style="color: rgb(48, 48, 56); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "Apple SD Gothic Neo", sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: -0.3px;">IP를 바라보는 관점도 기존 게임 전시와 다르다. 김정아 팀장은 "세상에 출시된 게임뿐 아니라 개발됐지만 나오지 못한 게임, 서비스 종료 후 이용자들이 다시 보고 싶어 하는 게임까지 아카이빙하고 싶었다"고 말했다. 이어 "기획자의 시선이 아니라 이용자들이 무엇을 좋아하고 공감할 수 있을지를 가장 많이 고민했다"고 설명했다.
